Natural Gas: Cheaper Than Crude Oil

If I had to buy something today, Crude Oil or Natural Gas, I would certainly buy Natural Gas. It`s much cheaper. and by the way, Natural Gas is selling much cheaper in the United States, in the rest of the world is not so much cheaper. I would rather be buying natural gas than selling.

Crude Oil and Natural Gas: Not Selling

I would not sell oil and gas or any kind of energy, certainly not oil and gas because there are all sorts of geopolitical risks on the horizon. But even without them, the supply and demand situation is such that we are going to need more energy over the next decade or two.

Energy Outlook: Crude Oil and Natural Gas

The surprise is going to be how high the price of Crude oil and Natural gas and energy stays and how high it goes. Known reserves of oil are declining all over the world, and no major, elephant oil field has been discovered in decades.

China: The Risk Of A Crisis Is High

China is the second largest economy in the world and if the second largest economy in the world has problems it is join got affect some people. If nothing else, the people who do business with China will be suffering. And that is a lot of people because it is such a huge economy now. It`s just like if America has problems, it affects a lot of people. If Japan has problems it affects some people. So, there`s no question that China will have problems. I don`t know what or when or why but every country has problems somewhere along the line.

What is a little bit unusual is that it has been a long time since China has had problems. That is extremely unusual. That is one reason I am not buying many shares in China right now.

Russia: Buy Low And Sell High

There is an old adage in the investment world. You buy when there is disaster, because if you buy when everybody is is panicking and dumping, you are probably going to make a lot of money unless the world comes to an end. I do not suspect that Russia will come to an end. Russia has huge assets, lots of foreign currency in reserves as well, so when I saw Russia collapsing I thought I should buy, and I did buy.

I have become more and more optimistic about Russia in the last year or two. Anyway, if you have big reserves and there are positive changes taking place in Russia, as far as I am concerned. So I hope your parents thought you to buy low and sell high. That is what I am trying to do.

Dollar: The U.S. Is Scaring People To Death

We are scaring people to death with our currency. If you were doing business in American dollars or had American dollars would`t you be worried? Because if in America they decide that they don`t like you, they are going to freeze your account, they are going to confiscate your assets.

So, many people say, "I d not want to use U.S. Dollars."

Adapting To Change

The world is always changing. One of the things that I have learned about my life and certainly reading history, no matter what you think is going on in the world today is not going to be the way the world is in 15 years. The world is always changing and we need to adapt to it.

Investing: Follow The Money

Follow the money. By that I mean if you figure out who is going to make the money or who is making the money, you can pretty much figure out politics, society, you can figure out a lot of stuff. A lot of people, their hidden agendas or their agendas can be discerned and discovered if you really figure out who is going to make the money, who is making the money, who`s got the money, who wants the money. If you can follow the money, if you can figure out what is happening then you will figure out a lot of the real stuff that is going on.

The U.S. Is Driving People Away From the Dollar

I don`t particularly like saying any of this, as I am an American citizen, an American taxpayer and an American voter. But if you drive people away from the U.S. Dollar , many people must be sitting and saying, "Gosh, if we have US Dollars and the U.S. decides that they don`t like us, they are going to put sanctions on us."

So, more and more people will say, maybe I should not use the U.S. Dollar or maybe I should not have any money in U.S. Dollars.

Oil Prices: Selling America`s Reserves Won`t Help Much

America does have oil reserves but they are not enough to,  I mean if we sold all of our reserves, its not enough to have any significant impact on the world oil market. It may make the market go down for a day, or a week, or 2 weeks even, but then the market is going to go back where it was before or go even back more because now America have sold its oil reserves.

Investing: I Am A Loner

I am pretty much a loner. I don`t have a TV, I don`t pay attention, I don`t speak to other people at all. I have found in my life if I did an investment idea from somebody else, I nearly always lose money and I am not quit sure why. So I have learned not to try.

China: Making Money in Agriculture

The World Is Always Changing

The world has changed and has always been changing. One of the things I write about in my books is, no matter what you think its true today, its not going to be the case in 15 years. You pick any time in history. 1900, 1915 and look at what everybody thought was the way the world is. Fifteen years later enormous changes had taken place all over the world in society, in politics, in wars, economics, everything.
